The 5 biggest casinos in the world

February 20, 2023

The 5 biggest casinos ever are sprawling complexes of entertainment that could cover an entire city. The levels of gambling that happen within these walls are astronomical.

Of course, no top-tier casino would be without the glam of celebrities staying and playing to their heart's content in return for a few publicity shots.

Visiting these casinos may be a dream for some of us, but if our wishes come true, which one would you visit? Let's take a look at the 5 biggest casinos from around the world.

WinStar World Casino

This 600,000 square feet giant is located in Oklahoma, USA. WinStar World Casino is officially the biggest casino in the world.

With all that gaming space, the casino knocks out its rivals with its competitive offers, from 7000 plus gaming machines and scores of table games to a non-smoking poker room and an 800-capacity bingo hall.

If you do not feel like gambling that day, the resort’s golf course might tickle your fancy. If not, there are nightclubs, a sports lounge, pools, and spas.

The 8 gaming plazas touch the world in all its corners through the cuisine presented by the 17 restaurants.

Another addition to the international theme is the street names, taken from some of the most popular cities in the world.

Venetian Macau

Found in Macau, China, this 546, 000 square feet monument is apparently the seventh largest building in the world by floor area.

The offering of a building from Macau situated across the City of Dreams makes it easier to engage in the exciting and vibrant gambling destination.

The overall space consumed by the mammoth building is approximately 39 stories that cover 10.50 million square feet of space.

Surrounded by a large body of water, the bright lights from the building are reflected in a shimmering glow.

Half of Venetian Macau is purely dedicated to gambling while proudly showcasing over 6,000 gaming machines, hundreds of gaming tables, and 4 themed gambling areas.

To give its patrons a unique experience, the resort is styled after Venice’s winding canals and identical landmarks.

To go with the 15,000 events area, it offers swathes of retail, convention, and dining spaces.

City of Dreams

The 420,000 square feet of the massive building are located in Macau, China. Travellers from all over the world venture out to the City of Dreams in flocks to experience its vast gaming options.

If you don’t find yourself inundated by the 450 gaming tables and more than 1,500 gaming machines, there are still VIP areas, four hotels, four spas, and 175,000 feet of shopping space to enjoy.

If you prefer skipping all of those, there’s still more. With over 30 restaurants and bars, art exhibitions, a nightclub and a live water theatre, the venue lives up to its title of being a “leading leisure destination”.

Foxwoods

You can find this colossal building renowned as the 4th largest casino in the world, 340,000 square feet, in Ledyard, Connecticut, USA.

Owned by the federally recognised Native American tribe under the name Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.

Though the resort may be remote from the bright lights of Vegas, it hosts 6 different casinos.

With an estimated gaming area of approximately 344,000 square feet, guests will be spoilt with over 3,400 slot machines and over 250 tables.

If shopping is more your thing, there is a high-end boutique and a shopping centre within the building.

From all the fun and exciting activities, you can expect to find around 55 food and drink outlets, a golf course and a spa, bowling, and zip-lining.

Wyn Macau

It may appear last on this list, but it's far from being the least-sized casino compared to many more.

The 273,000 square feet resort is placed in Macau, China. The upscale hotel and casino allow its guests to eat, sleep, and play with features such as an art gallery, swimming pool, spa, 29 designer shops, and four fine dining restaurants.

The focus on art is what makes this casino stand out from the rest, offering eye-catching installations and visual art shows.

Guests may find themselves intrigued by the colour-changing “Tree of Prosperity” and a revolving “Dragon of Fortune”.

Without forgetting to mention the ever mesmerising ‘Performance lake’, which includes light, a music and fire show, and a fluorescent ‘Moon Jelly Aquarium’. The world has even more, to offer for all types of casinos available.
